Tommy Castro And The Painkillers Oakland Concert reviews
The MercyMe concert was very uplifting
The crowd must have wondered what was going on, as we were expecting to hear a mixture of Tommy Castro and The Painkillers' favorites and a few newer songs. For me, the lesson was if we fill up our minds with biblical scripture and biblical-based music, the result will be biblical-based words coming out of us, to the benefit of all those around us. The concert began with a couple more old rock 'n' roll tunes and an old Beatles tune. The words to the old rock 'n' roll tunes came naturally to most of us in the crowd, as did the lyrics to their popular tunes.
